Amazing views of the Vatnajökull Glacier.

I cannot believe how thin the walls are! I was practically in the next room's conversations and it felt like I was part of their meeting! Adding to that, the flooring in the room was unbearable. it felt like I was walking on sharp pebbles. Having no kettle or hot water options was ridiculous for a location where comfort is key.

Stunning views near Hofn! 🌄

Rooms and house were super nice, everything was clean and comfy. The staff are the real star—shoutout to the chommie at reception who gave us all the good hiking tips! Free coffee and tea too, and wow, the ice cream made with local milk was lekker!

Dinner options were a bit limited for my taste.

The breathtaking views of the Vatnajökull Glacier from the guesthouse were an absolute highlight of our stay.

The thin walls between rooms made it difficult to enjoy a quiet night as conversations next door could easily be overheard.

This hidden gem offered stunning views of the nearby mountains. Our family enjoyed the spacious room, which came with a well-equipped kitchenette—perfect for whipping up breakfast with our dog. Watching the northern lights dance right outside our window was magical!

In my wife’s opinion, more bath mats would help.

The best part was the breakfast buffet—fresh bread, fruit! and they had a cozy lounge area with hot drinks to chill after a long day out.

It wasn’t the cheapest place!

Amazing views and cozy vibes

We had such a lovely time! The room was super bright and clean, with stunning glacier views right from our window. Breakfast was a treat, packed with fresh bread and fruit. Just a heads up, the thin walls meant we heard our neighbors a bit too well. But the cozy lounge area made up for it!
